2nd Time Around
I am back with a brand new blog, after an almost 10 month hiatus. In that time a lot and nothing has happened...but I will get to that in a bit.
I guess I should start at the beginning. ( This will be an edited version, for anyone interested you can check out my first blog at Rockin with the band ) In September 2009 I became the lucky owner of a shiny new lap band, and I really rocked it in the beginning. In only 7 months after the band that I ran my first 5K and had lost about 75 lbs. I was down to the weight I was when I was 20, but my weight loss stopped, and I stopped. I figured I was at a weight (225 ish) I thought I could live with, and still enjoy the things (wine and food) I wanted to. At that time I was also dealing with work drama and was in the middle of changing departments.... with all that said I just kind of lost my way for awhile.
I am trying to be positive however that during my "sabbatical" I only gained 6 lbs. I however have picked up all of my bad habits again, and have found myself back in a place I am not happy with. So cheers to starting over again.
I want to welcome any old blogger friends who may find me and any new bloggers are always welcome, however I just want everyone to know this is going to be a blog about ME not MY BAND. Not to say that it won't be mentioned ( in fact I am sure it will a lot) , but it is not the focus of my blog.
